Actually, they do. This war is wrecking their economy.
Yea and that red wave never materialized....
Because the republicans played into the dems hands on the abortion issue. In September 2022 Graham introduced a bill...I think it was 15 weeks. Why?? This was after the Supreme Court’s ruling. Every congress critter wanted to chime in with their views. As another poster stated....”why cant we just say our views are pro life and leave it at that”. Talk about the border or the economy. When we get sucked into this one issue it brings all the crazies out. Young women, old women, gay women, women past child bearing. I dont get it. And the big dollars to keep this big business of murdering babies going gladly donate to the dem candidates. What is the definition of insanity?
Thumbs up.
Cut all the lard out of the budget and cut all foreign giveaways.
Let countries who have received American largess in the past to send money our way for a change.
And spend the money that would have gone to foreign welfare on securing the borders and rounding up and deporting illegals.
It’s wrecking ours too.
Nah.
Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision galvanized the movement among the Democrats, especially female voters who considered abortion the most important issue to them.
Most Americans want abortion to be legal.
We have to embrace the political reality and move on.
We played into their hands and kept that topic front and center. We do it everytime. Change the narrative. Border! Economy! We can win on those topics.
We were going to take a beating, no matter what.
In fact, it's a surprise that we took the House of Representatives.
It's only because Joe Biden is that pathetic. If it wasn't for him, it would have been a blue wave. They would have taken 250 seats in the House in 2022.
Just the way it is.
And it will be no different in 2024. I figure that any state where they manage to get abortion on the ballot Republicans will lose overall.
Good, now vote to cut off aid.
Face it, the GOP caucus is a sick mess. We can’t count on congress to save us.
What else was in the bill?
I'd note that the bill will probably be voted on next week under regular order, and most likely achieve the necessary majority. Joe has threatened to veto the bill. Now, since the veto will likely be sustained, he owns the issue. One he probably would prefer not to own in a national election. And of course he loses his leverage with Israel.

Those who don’t understand how politics works take note: This just PROVED Democrats hate Jews and that is not a plus for them. The money will eventually get to Israel.
The impeachment of mayorkus will happen when the vote comes up next time. It just smoked out a dozen phony rodents that have been “crying” about the invasion of illegal aliens for show biz but failed to help when things got real.
Perhaps, but the repubes have the majority, the numbers against show that plenty of republicans voted against. So how does that figure in midterm results.
Sorry I was wrong, didn’t realize it took 2/3, regardless there is no chance republicans will have a 2/3 majority, ever

vivasection of cute little kitties?
The bill required a 2/3 majority to pass. It got a majority in favor, just not a 2/3 majority.
