Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Monday confirmed reporting that she has applied for Secret Service protection, amid an uptick of threats.
“We’ve had multiple issues,” Haley told the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) Monday, after a campaign event in South Carolina. “It’s not going to stop me from doing what I need to do.”
Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, had been the target of two “swatting” attempts at her home in the Palmetto State, according to reporting from ABC News.
On Monday, the WSJ noted an increase in the number of protestors in recent days at her events, demonstrating against her support for additional aid to Ukraine and Israel. The news outlet noted that, last week, a woman tried to rush the stage at a Haley campaign event, but she was tackled by a member of the candidate’s security detail.

These crazy SWAT shock troops every small city and above has are a menace to innocent people. No knock warrants are equally bad.
How can any police department credibly take any untraceable anonymous phone call as legit is beyond me. Especially if it purports to be someone yelling live, from that house, as being ready to kill themselves or their spouse or kids. Did the call use their landline? Did the call use a cell phone that showed the GPS coordinates at that address? Did that phone bill get paid by anyone in that house?
If they can’t answer these questions, they should not crash into homes unannounced.
Oh, they’ll give it to her alright.

It’s absolutely amazing that they can round up countless people who were in the Capitol on January 6th, and announce that they’re going after even more people 3 years later, but are helpless as a stillborn kitten in the face of anonymous death threats to a political candidate.
Her campaign is OVER, SHE LOST and will be forced to drop out very soon. She deserves NOTHING other than an extended stay in Afghanistan so she can champion for Womens Rights under Sharia.
