On a one on one basis, yes, you are correct. But in the current situation, there’s a great deal of peer pressure in that clique to at least appear to support Israel. If only to virtue signal, that class will temporarily turn away from financial support of the Dems and likely will stay home in the election. They won’t vote Republican, but that doesn’t matter. They only have to not vote for the Dem.
I want that to be true.
As more and more obnoxious traffic shutdowns and anti-semitic college statements come out these will help turn old supporters away as they see how the Left is not their friend.
