Chinese government hackers are busily targeting water treatment plants, the electrical grid, transportation systems and other critical infrastructure inside the United States, FBI Director Chris Wray will tell House lawmakers on Wednesday in a fresh warning from Washington about Beijing’s global ambitions.
Wray will say that that there’s been “far too little public focus” on a cyber threat that affects “every American,” according to a copy of prepared remarks that he is to give before the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.

Thanks, I didnt see it.
Why are critical systems on the Internet at all? Jeez. How stupid can you be? The enemy can’t hack if they have no connection.
Is this the most imminent threat? If so, I didn’t know that the Chinese were white nationalists.
I have the same question.
ping-—your thread related here.
Nothing the FBI says can be believed.
Ironic, since for decades the FBI, NSA and others in the US government opposed implementation of secure networks using sound cryptography. Interception and monitoring usually won out over privacy and security.
What I want to know is why is critical infrastructure (utilities and such) reachable from outside, period. Totally closed and unreachable corporate networks are possible and corporations do have divided access systems, access path within the corporation alone and and acess path to external networks, with some elements restricted and closed to one or the other. Yes, it costs more but there are companies that do it.
Wray claims he did Nazi this coming until just now.
I'm sure Wray's explanation is overly long, is should simply be:
Wray claims he did Nazi!
When I worked as an EE I had 2 computers at my workstation. One was an internal network for my projects. The other had Internet access. There’s no reason the power companies can’t do this.
Thanks to on line computers it makes their job much easier.
Trump would be the only one to set China in its place, but
the FBI has done as much as it could to prevent him from
ever holding office again. It and the DOiJ haven’t a
single clue what is going on these days, other than their
own treachery.
“Chinese hackers are determined to ‘wreak havoc’ on U.S. critical infrastructure, FBI director warns..”
So do something about it F’head!
Maybe the FBI should stop helping the Chinese.
At least we know that the Chinese won’t impede the FBI’s work.
“ Chinese government hackers are busily targeting water treatment plants, the electrical grid, transportation systems and other critical infrastructure…”
I’m more interested to find out if the FBI is tracking Chinese actually in the US who might attack our infrastructure. How many of them so far? 100,000 illegals from China?
And what about muslims?

If true, then thanks, free traitors. The Chicoms couldn’t have done it without you.
