I remember back in 1968, when all media attention was on the murder of Bobby Kennedy, a South California gun manufacturing company was raided by the BATF. They had been making unlicensed sub machine guns for use in South America.

It was found that the Lyndon Johnson Administration may have been giving consent to such manufacture at that time.

The story was noted in the NRA magazine American Rifleman but ignored by others as they were more interested in banning 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles and foreign “Saturday Night Specials” from US citizens.

I should also mention that there was a time when the US government was supplying unmarked ammo to various foreign terrorist groups.
No head stamp on the ammo, but some enterprising news reporter found the foreign ammo had Berdan primers while the unmarked US ammo had Boxer primers which allowed foreign nations to place the blame on the US.

Ah, the things I remember from my youth.

When enough of these criminals slip into the US the crime will be so great you can bet the government will have to suspend Constitutional Rights a declare nation wide Martial Law!

Then they will use that Martial Law, not to fight crime, but to go after honest citizen’s firearms. And you can kiss the Constitution by by.

I remember during the Obama admin that Mexico was complaining about US made weapons there(Fast and Furious). But they also complained about cartels using South Korean hand grenades.
They also had large numbers of other weapons from other places, but only the US made weapons were mentioned.

Now where did the cartels get those?

Mexico is learning that an open border with the US controlled by the cartels is open both ways.

If you are shipping *tons* of drugs into Mexico (like, say China) how hard is it to include ‘used’ US weapons from Vietnam, Afghanistan and other old battlegrounds?

I think the cartels have LOTS of MONEY!

I’ve heard that it TALKS.
