The Immigration Crisis Shows Just How Much Contempt America’s Establishment Has For Democracy
The Federalist ^ | JANUARY 26, 2024 | MARK HEMINGWAY

America’s avoidable immigration crisis is now the No. 1 concern of voters, ahead of inflation and the economy. So why is no one in D.C. interested in holding Biden accountable?

On June 17, 1953, more than a million East Germans walked off the job and launched a massive strike in protest of unfair production demands imposed by the communist government. The playwright Bertolt Brecht, who was living in East Berlin, responded by composing a poem about the Soviet-installed government’s approach to the problem, “Die Lösung” (which translates into “The Solution”):

After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

Anyway, you know things are bad in America when East Germany seems like a relevant historical analog, but here we are. Perusing the press these days, you’d think Brecht’s satirical joke about the government voting out the people was a real possibility. In fact, I’d dare say attempts to impose our rulers’ wishes on the electorate are now a prominent feature of American discourse.

The morning of the Iowa caucuses, The New York Times published a typically oblivious op-ed headlined “The Responsibility of Republican Voters,” essentially commanding them not to vote for Donald Trump. In reality, such a sentiment coming from the Times is tantamount to encouraging Republicans to support Trump, both as a result of its own sins and as a synecdoche for America’s utterly reviled journalistic establishment. Naturally, a guy the Times insists is “distinguished from the rest of the Republican candidates primarily...

Bad?

If the Chairman of the Arizona Republican GOP is out there attempting to manipulate elections, you can imagine what the Communist left is doing.

It’s bad that 82 million ignorant morons put a jackass in the White House who cares more for foreign freeloaders than he does for them.

I get tired of people saying the Establishment wants immigrants only for cheap labor. No, the kind of labor the immigrants can do is limited.

The Establishment wants an invasion of immigrants to destroy the historical nation with its Christian heritage.

That longed for destruction is why so many military aged single males are trooping here from every enemy nation on earth.

Kind of reminds me of that George Washington vision where the United States is attacked inside its borders by soldiers from every continent. I used to wonder just how that would transpire. It can now.

“It’s bad that 82 million ignorant morons put a jackass in the White House...”

And it is just as bad as someone actually believing that Biden got 82 million votes.

The least discussed point around the Open Borders issue is the motivation for it. The DemonKKKrat Marxists haven’t figured out that everyone knows (or should know) what it is: the opportunity to get new voters signed up as DemonKKKrats. Yes, they will be border-jumpers welcomed with open arms—just like the old days.

Well, like President Trump, I say send them back. Send these border-jumpers back, who let their countries sink into Marxist s-holes and did nothing. Send these border-jumpers back who will work to turn our beloved nation into another Marxist s-hole just like the one they came from. They came for freedom? No! They came for the dollars pouring out from our tax dollars delivered by their DemonKKKrat recruitment Marxists in Washington DC.

Well, the chimps in the far left fake news organizations said it is so, it must be the truth. We just forgot to ask them if they had any proof.

The same factors that led to Amendment XIV could lead to a federal wealth tax.

Governments already take ~1% to ~2.5% of the worth of real property annually.

Why not 2% of common stock holdings?

Or 3%, payable in shares to the public employee pension funds?

Globalist schills who want this hate the word “heritage”. To them, the USA is just one great big enterprise zone and nothing more.

The Trump campaign just made a good move by aligning with the Republican governors against Biden’s weak and disastrous illegal immigration policies.

The reason this is smart, is there are factions in the democrat party that not only want to throw the 45th President in prison, they want those Congressional members who questioned the 2020 Big Cheat in prison as well.

The kooks and crazies are already calling Governor Abbott an ‘insurrectionist.’

The more Republican politicians are called traitors & insurrectionists by lunatic democrats, the more unified we’ll become going into November.

Now I’m going to use a false platitude from the covid era hysteria:

“We are all in this together.” (I hope our malcontents get the message)

Delaware Donkeys

Well, our basketball/football team would normally lose, so we are adding more players until we win.

Have you ever worked with a work team populated by "immigrants?" Their inadequate ability to communicate with their English speaking coworkers makes for a team operation into a chaotic mess. If it is a production line, piles of product wind up on the floor, spoiled by contamination. Glass jars end up being kicked around by shoes and cartons spilling their contents all over the production line. You ask what caused the problem and they can't tell you. Because the information is not described, the problem happens again. When you finally get a fix, you can't tell them what to do to fix the problem.

The influx of all these border-jumpers can bring down America's productivity drastically. Producers will have to hire multi-lingual employees (I'm not just talking Hispanics) to manage the production lines.

I just read where the bozos in the U.S. Senate have reached an agreement to “LIMIT” the number of illegals coming into America (as opposed to shutting off the spigot and hangin’ a NO VACANCY sign) and speeding up the amnesty process of “a pathway to a better life in America, The Big Piñata, at the U.S. taxpayers’ expense” from 10 years or 9 months for the first little anchor or 6 months if you’ve already got kids born in Mexico. Bend over America. The GOOBs are at it again. The Kings of Surrender.

Christians expect their public servants to be at least a little bit fair, honest, and merciful. “Migrants” timidly tolerate corruption and oppression because they come from kleptocracies whose rulers demand bribes, “disappear” political rivals, and steal elections.
