This statement is further evidence that there is fast coming a point where no more talks with Ukraine will be pursued. This will be decided by the demilitarization of Ukraine, meaning that Russia does not seek the surrender but rather the defeat of all military forces supplied by NATO in Ukraine.

Ukraine had 1.2m trained men and 600K regular army, and 300K reserves in the fight thoughout the war to this point. Now they 500K total. Russia started this with 190K men in the war so it was always going to be a slow incremental war never before seen. But with each successive infusion of 300K men the Russian Special Operation has now reached over 650K in Ukraine.

Ukraine is part of a bigger picture.

Russia will get Ukraine, maybe they will remain in Syria.

The United States will get Israel, and maybe Iran.

Bottom line is that Ukraine is lost to the NATO orbit.
