I think the problem for Bob Good and his “Freedom” Caucus is that endorsing Trump only means headaches and virtually no money, whereas endorsing DeSantis means tons of money and only small hassles (as in MTG).

For anyone who legitimately wanted Trump policies without the Trump baggage (call BS as you will), there’s no choice now except Trump policies with the baggage or something not what you wanted at all ... with other baggage.
