Ukraine will change its citizenship law to allow foreign volunteer fighters to become Ukrainians, as well as “all ethnic Ukrainians” around the world to get passports, no matter how many generations different, the President has said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a raft of new laws he had submitted to the national parliament (Verkhovna Rada) on Monday in a speech marking the Ukrainian Day of National Unity, an annual celebration of the short-lived 1917-era Ukrainian People’s Republic. Among the announcements are a serious liberalisation of Ukrainian citizenship law, allowing dual citizens for the first time and opening up passports to the global Ukrainian diaspora, as well as foreign military volunteers.

Under a Zelensky regime, that would be like joining the mafia
That’s just insane and delusional. And also beyond the current capabilities of NATO. Which can’t even produce artillery ammunition. Or enough air defence for Ukraine.
But, but, but...
The USA/NATO will intervene in every conflict everywhere in the world because...otherwise Hitler.
“If we had stayed out of the war, the Germans would have
developed nuclear weapons, and the missiles to deliver
them. How would that have helped us? “
It would have been like Russia during the Cold War.
If you sign up with Putin you don’t have to be a soldier you can serve as a mercenary if you prefer, and your whole family gets citizenship, including your parents.
“He’s already working on Finland, but helping facilitate
large immigration problems on its border. “
How come NeoCons can recognize that mass immigration is used as a destabilization tactic when Putin does it, but then can’t recognize that the Governments of the West are doing the same to their own countries...
...Hey, wait a minute !
This could be the part ansel12 was referencing. I’ve
corrected some language to try to be more clear.
He’s already working on Finland, by helping facilitate
large immigration problems on its border.
This isn’t stopping at the Ukraine, and at some point
you guys must at least ponder the likelihood it won’t.
We can already see evidence of an implied move focused
on Finland. If that does play out, all bets are off.
Russian leaders have talked about taking action in six
or seven other nations. We can’t just laugh that off.
Sorry for not proof reading my text better.
Look, if you wish to disagree, I won’t give you a
hard time over it. It just seems to me that this
issue needs more thought.
Thanks.
Okay, then you wouldn’t have minded Germany in control of
most of Europe and Northern Africa.
I wouldn’t, and I don’t think most folks would.
I’ve been railing on our immigration policies since 1990.
I don’t support them here and I don’t support the same
tactics to be used on other Western nations, by those who
wish to conquer Europe.
Does that come with a portion of the graft Zelensky, et al, rakes in?
It's not "those who wish to conquer Europe". The illegals are just pawns. And Putin doing this is a drop in the bucket compared to what has been let in already.
This has being engineered for years by the Regimes of Europe, Canada, USA against their own countries.
Who would take this offer? Africans who want to move to Europe maybe?

If the African signs up with Putin as either a soldier or a mercenary (his preference) he gets citizenship for his family, including his parents.
I’m not sure if you think I’m saying Putin is driving the
illegal immigration in the U. S. or not. I’m not.
The fact still remains that he is trafficking illegals to
challenge Finland’s borders.
Of course what is taking place here is wrong. Who made
the inference it wasn’t?
No, I think China and Russia should be the world police
Why let the U. N. do it.
That would be much better. /s
Yeah: one meter wide, two meters long and one meter deep.
Yeah, World Police™️ FTW. /s
In 2011 the UN military intervention in Libya, before that the United States-sponsored UN “police action” in Korea in 1950.
Any others we should brag about?
BTW, why didn’t the UN intervene during the 8 years of the Donbas War?
So let’s “learn from history than repeat it.” Since WW2, what “interventions” did we win?
All I got is… Granada?

I still consider Iraq a success story too, because since
we were there, there have been no other nations attacked
by Iraq.
Former nations attacked by it:
Iran
Kuwait
Saudi Arabia
Israel
Casualties in these attacks and the aftermath are anywhere
from 500k to 1000k
We toppled the leadership of Nicaragua, but the same guy
came back and was voted in later. He seemed to be less
of a problem after coming back.
We were able to help El Salvador keep their government.
What big dust ups were there after WWII? Did actions by
the U. S. keep relative peace, after us having two WWs,
one around 1919 and the other around 1940.
Since 1945 there have been wars, but not the type we had
prior to 1945 in about 25 years.
We were able to keep nukes out of Cuba.
We also had great relations with Japan and former
adversaries around the world.
Was our nation the bastion of every good? Well no. The
fact still is that the United States stood up against
the USSR, gave it a run for the money in defense, and
the USSR fell, allowing a number of former Soviet
holdings to declare their independence.
Some folks will say we have a terrible track record.
I don’t believe we do.
