The days of CBS as the arbiter of truth are long gone …. If they ever existed at all. They cannot speak about misinformation after Russiagate and the WuFlu.

CBS This Morning did a whole segment on washed up Greenday, why? Because they did a anti-Trump song to gain attention on New Year's Eve and CBS felt the need to give them free air time for the cause.

They never existed. Big Media have been pathological liars for longer than you have been alive.

If they ever existed at all.

Oh it existed. At one time there were only three networks and if you were to watch the national news you could switch channels while they were on and find they were all covering the same story the same way.

During Nixon’s term it was all hate Nixon and the Watergate every network news show would have 10 to 15 minutes on the Watergate story.

When it came to Vietnam they were reporting every negative thing they could and they declared the Tet Offensive was an American loss when it was a victory (of sorts) for the Americans.

The network news controlled what was “news”, if they did not report it, it did not happen.
