In which case, it might not matter who is the GOP nominee.
Ron is pathetic. Very sad how he destroyed his political career. Very Bush-like in squandering loads of goodwill.
At this point, DeSantis has said so many things that denigrate me and people like me, that I don’t care what he has to say.
This is the jackass who bragged about visiting every Iowa county in the months leading up to this week’s caucuses … and the more voters saw of him, the worse his poll numbers got.
Did he forget the other Democrat candidates like RFK Jr?
Rare photo of Donald Trump in his basement.
Did Meatball hold his breath jump up and down and turn blue?!
Bahahahahahahahahah. He’s pathetic
A guy named Binkley got some votes in the Iowa caucuses. Maybe he can debate DeSantis.
Biden showed that there is no need to campaign with his original basement strategy. Trump is simply following suit. Just like Biden held the lead and simply hid in his basement, Trump is now in the lead and feels no need to engage with anyone and instead will just ride that lead to the election.
He’s gonna lose regardless
President Trump engages with the people who matter—the voters.
He has public appearance after public appearance.
You must know that.
“Trump is simply following suit.”
Are you serious? Is it possible that you are serious?
DeSantis has never risked anything in his political career. He had the perfect set-up in Florida where he could play the tough guy with a super majority state legislature. Trump has fought the tough fight with the deep state, putting himself at great financial and personal risk. Ron’s never done anything like that. It’s shameful that he tries to put himself in the same category as Trump. He’s like a boy playing cops and robbers except in this case he’s playing MAGA warrior vs Deep State. It’s all pretend with Ron. There’s no risk of being thrown in jail or worse for Ron like there is with Trump.
Roughly cost per vote in Iowa
Haley - $3,253.5
DeSantis - $2,557.6
Trump - $963.4
Ramaswamy - $958.0
We know who the GOP backs.
I am serious, but I don’t see it as a negative. And I wouldn’t have called it a “basement” strategy, but as Biden demonstrated, you don’t have to campaign when you are in the lead, you can simply coast to the election.
Nothing has been done formally - that’s for sure. There may be some dynamics that make it a little harder. None of the top ringleaders who organized the steal have been held accountable, and none of the laws have been reformed.
There is one big difference that may deter them somewhat: There were thousands of low level perpetrators who had “plausible deniability” - in other words they could say they were just doing what they were told - and had no idea they were committing a crime.
They know better now - some will be willing to do it all over again, but a lot won’t. It will be much harder and riskier to recruit mules, for example.
How does a recruiter know if the person he is trying to recruit is not an under cover journalist working for, say, Project Veritas?
Election theft is a crime, and people committing it are much more likely to get caught this time.
I totally agree with you. The Republican members of Congress that voted to accept Biden's fraudulent electors on January 6th, should all be charged as traitors, or at least aiding and abetting a coup. They sanctioned unlimited voter fraud that day.
How can you say that Trump is using Biden’s basement campaign strategy since he makes at least one rally per day?
Geez Ron, drop out already, go back to FL and keep doing what you do so well down there. Please.........
That list of Trump NH rallies doesn’t look like a Basement Campaign
to me. Where is the list of Meatball’s NH Campaign Rallies?
Oh, that’s right Meatball went straight to SC after being crushed in Iowa.
Bypassing NH.
