Because the judge found that Trump filed a frivolous SLAPP suit against the three journalists. The judge ordered that Trump pay the journalists’ legal fees.

I realize that, but the courts allowed frivolous suits filed by E. Jean Carroll, first over an alleged incident, she can't even remember the date it occurred, and then again when she didn't like things Trump publicly said about her after the first court case ended. Which suit(s) is/are more frivolous? E. Jean Carroll's, or Donald Trump's. Trump's of course, if the Judge sitting is a Democrat.
