Cruz: ‘It’s Not That Mayorkas Is Bad at His Job — It’s That He Is Openly Defying Federal Law’

On Wednesday on FNC’s “The Story,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) rejected any suggestion that President Joe Biden should be the target of impeachment and not Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for failing to secure the southern U.S. border.
The Texas Republican laid out the consequences of the Biden administration’s failures at the border to bolster his case.
“Look, I think the House is doing exactly the right thing,” he said. “I think Alejandro Mayorkas should be impeached. I think he should have been impeached two years ago. You got to understand, it’s not that Mayorkas is bad at his job. It’s that he is openly defying federal law. He is not trying to secure the border. He is instead trying to accelerate illegal immigration. He is trying to process illegal immigrants faster. We’ve had over that Joe Biden’s entire tenure 9.6 million illegal immigrants flood into this country. And Mayorkas is ignoring the laws on the books and is subjecting the American people to enormous risk.”

Correct. I’m sick of hearing about this administration’s alleged “failed border policies,” as if they have honestly tried to secure the border but have failed. Mayorkas has SUCCEEDED at the task given to him by Biden’s puppet masters — to erase the border and flood our nation with as many millions of third worlders as possible. This isn’t failed policy, but intentional destruction.

No, he’s pared his job down to the point where he doesn’t have anything to do so I would classify that is as a slacker and a lazy ass who did away with the bulk of his work so he wouldn’t have any work to do and could collect pay and benefits for doing nothing.

Being bad at your job is the Democrat agenda. The worse the better. Government only rewards failure with more money and fewer liberties among the citizens. Nobody has picked up on this shtick at this point? The dumber you act the better.
Once you have mastered public displays of stupidity, you are gold. Mean spirited, arrogant, repugnant, and stupid, gets you a cabinet post.
Enter, the Lloyd Austin example. He's so good at being bad that nobody notices him. The Brass Ring of six figure government gigs, followed by a decade on the board of directors for public universities, pharmaceutical companies, and defense contractors.

Millions of these immigrants (with whom I deal with EVERY DAY in my job) do NOT have United States values (at least what we USED to have). When a person crosses a border, that person does NOT change the way (s)he thinks or believes. Unfortunately, in much of Latin America, lying and stealing things are extremely common, more so than what our society used to be.
Now, you have millions of people coming into the country who believe it is okay to lie and steal. Are people propagandized so much that they can not see that is going to put an enormous strain on our economy, if not collapse it? We take losses from Hispanics (primarily Mexicans) just plain taking off without paying for product. We can not set up a regular cash register checkout system due to the product sold and they way it is delivered, so it is very difficult to manage the delivery and then payment process.
These people coming here who do not share our values are going to turn our nation into the very place from which they came. It is so sad, but higher level government officials apparently want it that way, including Mayorkas.

The Democrats want to purposely flood the country with illegals, so actually, he's doing his job perfectly. As soon as the Republican Party figures this out, perhaps they can do something about it.

No ... Sen. Cruz is correct. What we’re seeing with Mayorkas isn’t incompetence. It’s deliberate malfeasance; deliberate violation of law.
