democrats only care about J6 for ONE reason, they don’t want conservative to protest.
If conservatives get in the habit of protesting the way liberals have for the last 50 years.. it is over for them, and they know it!
And they simply are out of issues to campaign on. They need a boogeyman.
As heartbreaking as it is, that is not the reason.
Conservatives don't want to do their constitutional duty to protest. This is fact. We had a Tea Party protest movement. That did not come to an end in 2019. That came to an end way back in 2014 basically.
The April 15th Tea Party of 2013 was, I believe, the very last of its kind. This to me is probably the biggest affront to the legacy of the Founders we have.
2013 is a loooong way prior to J6. All of the protesters sat down long, long ago.
Conservatives do love our Founding Fathers - but not the Founders' penchant for protesting. That's one area where people don't want anything to do with being like the Founders. When it comes to protesting there is almost a "screw the founders" mentality to it all. It is widely seen too, here on Free Republic and elsewhere. There is almost a twisted pride in it even, if you start talking about protesting there is a swarm of lurkers that come out of the woodwork to remind everyone that they have jobs. That's great that you love your job. But now you're nothing but a worker. Workers don't matter. You've reduced yourself to nothing.
Why complain about something and then do such diligent insistence of being uninvolved? It's a deep contradiction to be sure. If you're going to be a complainer, you should be willing to be active every once in a while. I mean this comment in general, BTW.
I, personally, am highly distraught and distressed that there have not been any Tea Party protests in a decade. The amount of time that has been thrown to the side is very difficult to get back. It's just gone.
