That isn’t an excuse to wipe out history.
With that logic, we could do away with the Jefferson Memorial in DC, and we could rename Mt. Vernon in Virginia.
Big deal lots of the founders owned slaves, it was part of reality then.

He was a Quaker. They were very much involved in the Abolitionist movement, so not very likely.
So what, white folks were not the only ones who owned slaves in the day, some of the largest slave owners were black. Back in those times whites and blacks were slaves in this country and to destroy the past to be politically correct or woke is no different than what the Taliban or ISIS has done or is doing.
What this administration is doing is destroying everything that built this nation. Nothing good will come of this except for the communists agenda of their continuing fracturing of our country.
