Voted? The state legislature? Or do you mean the mail in "votes" for Biden?

The Park Service claims that at some later date, which is not currently funded, there will be a new exhibit that mentions Penn and his work founding what became the state named for him as well as the city of Philadelphia.

"mentions?" Like a highway road sign?

Flavius Josephus, around 70 AD:

“the madness of those that were for innovations”

The quote is from “War of the Jews” Book 7, Chapter 1, Section 1

https://www.biblestudytools.com/history/flavius-josephus/war-of-the-jews/book-7/chapter-1.html

Within the sentence:

“This was the end which Jerusalem came to by the madness of those that were for innovations; a city otherwise of great magnificence, and of mighty fame among all mankind.”

” Kirker was given a contract by the government of Chihuahua to fight Apaches. He was authorized to raise 200 men and would be paid for Apache prisoners.[3] The core group of his force was about 25 men, called “Sahuanos” (Shawnees) which included Anglos, Mexicans, escaped Black slaves and Shawnee, Delaware, and Creek Indians, including his second in command, a Shawnee named Spybuck.[4]”

I am having one heck of a time trying to post on various news pages in which this is on. If someone is logged into such web sites about the removal of the Penn Statue feel free to use what I say below!

The Quaker Pennsylvania Legislature, in the 1760s was so pacifist and pro-Indian that the citizens had to pile their murdered family members in the doorway to force the Quaker legislators to walk over them, and finally call out the militia to protect the settlers from Indian attacks.

This was about the time the FIRST SCHOOL HOUSE MASSACRE took place in Pennsylvania, caused by Delaware Indians. Google The Enoch Brown Massacre of 1764.

The Shawnees and others made a great reputation by being SCALPHUNTERS, killing Apaches for Mexican Gold!

Google the name James Kirker, Scalphunter

If he really wanted to help the Native Americans he’d give NYC back to them and let them charge rent on the buildings and run all the White liberals out of town back to Europe.

I don’t know what of this applies or not to Penn but the early Quakers in North Carolina were opposed to slavery and still became slave-holders. The reason was that the fugitive slave laws made free slaves subject to mandatory re-enslavement in some jurisdictions. The Quakers would “buy” their freedom in Virginia or elsewhere and then they would be captured back into slavery as their legal status was only as property.

To remedy this condition, North Carolina Quakers would “own” these slaves that they had bought for future manumission until such time as they could get them to Indiana or such other areas of the Northwest Territory areas where slavery was not permitted. This is why so many town in Indiana have Carolina names, given by Quakers moving there with blacks to free.

Doesn’t make much sense considering William Penn pretty much lived up to his treaties...?

What would be the outcome if a whole bunch of patriots kept vigil around the statue until this evil Haaland backs off?
