Ghislaine Maxwellattended Chelsea Clinton's wedding after skipping a deposition in a civil suit against Jeffrey Epstein by one of his accusers, according to newly unsealed court documents.
Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for helping Epstein recruit and groom underage girls as part of their sex trafficking organization.

Maxwell, a British socialite who was Epstein's partner between the 1980s and 1990s, was called to testify in a case brought forward by an alleged victim, Virgina Guiffre.
According to the New York Post, the court document showed that Maxwell had cited family affairs back in the UK as a reason why she was not able to be deposed. She had initially agreed to participate, according to Guiffre's lawyers.
However, her attorneys contacted Guiffre's team to inform them that Maxwell would have to fly back to be at her mother's side after she fell ill.
"At the eleventh hour Maxwell's attorney informed plaintiff's counsel that Maxwell's mother was very ill and that consequently Maxwell was leaving the country with no plans to return," the filing states.
A photograph released in 2010 showed her in attendance in the crowd at the wedding of Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former U.S president Bill Clinton.
Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers respond
Maxwell's attorneys, Arthur Aidala and Diana Fabi Samson, did not individually address the new findings from the unsealed document. However, they did release a statement on Wednesday night after the filings began to be unsealed, in which she continued to protest her innocence.
"Ghislaine Maxwell took no position on the Court's recent decision to unseal documents in Giuffre v. Maxwell as these disclosures have no bearing on her or her pending appeal," they said in the statement.
"Ghislaine's focus is on the upcoming appellate argument asking for her entire case to dismissed. She is confident that she will obtain justice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
"She has consistently and vehemently maintained her innocence."
