The End of Snow
“… balmy holidays are a preview of something darker: bigger climate extremes, more natural disasters, the specter not of a world where humans suffer through these things and find ways to survive but where we’ve made the planet so uninhabitable that, in the longer run, the planet survives but we don’t.
‘I was thinking about this while standing outside a science museum a couple of days ago with a friend. We were talking about the weather, but not the kind of small talk when you have nothing else to say. “I’m not sure our grandkids will even know what snow is,” she said, with a wry “I’m kidding, but I’m not” laugh. She and her family were leaving for a ski trip the next week, uncertain whether there would be enough snow.”
Good grief.
Northeast U.S. snow is timed for Saturday night and Sunday.
The reference to “midwest blizzard” refers to a separate and later storm due to hit western Great Lakes region on Tuesday into early Wednesday. That one will push warm air over whatever snow falls on weekend in northeast, adding a lot of rain, and result will be a soggy mess there.
Watch Patriots game on Sunday if you want a laff.
it looks like one of those pictures where you can’t really tell what the hell is in the picture...
How DARE you slander Alice.
Check out the Christmas tree apron. I swear it’s a match.

Varying winters for decades. Nothing has changed.

LOL uh huh! 🤣
I saw that artic,e the other day- we don’t have reporters with common sense anymore- just brainwashed climate agendists giving us breath, ess reports about doom and gloom future.
It’ll cover all those solar panels...
Identifying snow in photovoltaic monitoring data for improved snow loss modeling and snow detection
...Snow coverage on the PV modules will lead to significant power losses, which must be estimated and accounted for in order to achieve accurate energy yield assessment and production forecasts. Additionally, detection and separation of snow loss from other system losses is necessary to establish robust operation and maintenance (O&M) routines and performance evaluations...
Well, it would if this was really about saving the planet and/or getting the best bang for the taxpayer's buck.
But it's not and never has been.
It will freeze up the illegals.
LOL, BOTH plus the Constable !
