That ship sailed when nobody had the guts to go after John Dean.

I found Tucker Carlson’s take on what happened with Nixon to be interesting. It would have taken until now to realize this due to what’s been exposed in the last six years.

MAGA world is not trying to rehab Nixon as far as I know. The only thing that strikes me is that he was the first one the modern MSM targeted to take out of the game. Then they got a taste for blood. They also never forgave him for exposing that commie Alger Hiss.

Despite what the Lying Left says, including Ed Kilgore and nymag.com, Nixon and Trump are miles apart.

Nixon was brought down by his own lust for glory and power. He was a RINO if there ever was one. His right-hand man, Kissinger, is unveiled as the the forerunner of the WEF, the vortex of Worldwide Totalitarian Government.

Nixon did what he thought would make him look good. Trump is here for one reason - MAGA by the restoration of America’s Free Constitutional Republic.

The Left never gets it Right.

Rehabilitate Nixon???

that’s a new one.

maybe compare treatment of nixon and 0bama... but i wouldn’t call that rehabilitating nixon rather a condemnation of the left and their typical double standards

We just have embers of a constitution after a republican prez signed endless covid tyranny into law. He also offered DACA, emboldening caravans of invaders , and to ensure the tyranny is perpetuated, stood by fauci and signed in mail in ballots and other freedom burners in the CARES act.
He adored fauci so much as to bestow presidential commendation on him.
No thanks! Let the dems habve it to those are our principles.
Be honest… would you have masked, restricted your travel and gave up all freedom under Obama?? It a chance. Only Trump could accomplish that.

Nixon absolutely trounced McGovern. Unforgivable in the eyes of libtards.

Nixon’s greatest “crime” was beating McGovern in a nationwide landslide. No one in the media voted for him or knew anyone who did. So clearly he must have stolen the election and had to be punished.

Nixon was hated by the left from the time he was a Congressman from California and helped to expose Alger Hiss’s activities. They rejoiced when a mob in Venezuela stoned his car and were thrilled when he lost to JFK in 1960 and to Edmund Brown when ran for governor in 1962.

Naturally they were mortified when he won the Presidency in ‘68 and even more so when he won 49 states in 1972. They finally got him via the Watergate scandal when Republican leaders convinced him that he would not only be impeached, but convicted in the Senate. If you weren’t around, the Watergate hearings were must-see TV for months. The Jan. 6 Committee was hoping for the same thing, but it didn’t happen for them.

He was by no means perfect, but he did manage to acquire the right enemies. The left hated him as much as they hate Trump, only for decades longer.

Democrats often noted that Nixon wasn’t all bad when it came to domestic policy; he signed the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, appointed the Supreme Court justice who wrote Roe v. Wade, and even committed the supreme conservative ideological heresy of imposing wage and price controls.

Despite all of these liberal accomplishments, the Left will never forgive Nixon for nailing the Soviet spy Alger Hiss and crushing the counterculture with his resounding victory over George McGovern in 1972. And today's wokesters charge him with yet another unforgivable sin--saving Israel by supplying it with munitions during the Yom Kippur War.

I don’t see it. It’s the other way around. The Reagan Library/Museum/Foundation has been anti-MAGA and the Nixon Library/Museum/Foundation has been more open to Trump and MAGA.

I would say, though, that looking at what happens when the Establishment or the Deep State decides to take someone out now, the whole Watergate story deserves a second look.

Fast-forward to 2024 and make no mistake, Nixon would not have resigned.

First he would have kept Agnew, knowing that was his ace in the hole; then on Aug. 7, 1974, told Goldwater and Rhodes and Hugh Scott, to get the freak out of the Oval Office or "I'll give you Agnew as President!"

And that would have been that. Goldwater would have gone back to Mansfield and said, 'You vote to remove and your Montana will glow within a year.'.
