I’ll look that up. I will say that many of our Founding Fathers fathered children by women who were not their wives. That doesn’t mean their ideas were wrong.
I’d rather see MLK day as a holiday than Malcolm X day or this guy Karenga being celebrated. Young black people need a black role model and if it’s not MLK it will be someone else, likely someone a lot worse. Just my 0.02.
Here is my a observation first hand of the Kwanzaa celebration. My pre school grand kids had a “winter festival” It just so happeneds that everyone of the children where white a few Hispanic children and ONE black child, yet Kwanzaa was celebrated. Nothing like pandering to the one black family that were present. You can bet the white teachers discussed this in preparation and decided to put thier tails between thier legs and bite thier tongues and go with the pandering to avoid an uproar from that one family. sic and stupid and well trained
