So Russia has lost again, as many times as Ukraine has lost.

What reality is that?

Russia is keeping every inch of annexed territory. Liberating Donetsk and Lugansk and building a land bridge from Crimea to mainland Russia were THE territorial objectives going into the war.

If you don't think that they will, bet me otherwise. Or don't have the guts?

Anything West of the Dnieper was not annexed and incorporated into the Russian Federation.

The area has been fully incorporated in Kherson, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia will never be part of Ukraine again.

“Anything West of the Dnieper was not annexed and incorporated into the Russian Federation.

Not true.

The whole of the Oblasts were annexed by Russia (on paper) - even though Russia did not even occupy all that territory. They were never able to enter Zaporizhzhia City (the Capital of Zaporizhzhia Oblast), and were forced to retreat from Kherson City, the Capital of Kherson Oblast.

The world will never recognize Putin’s farce of claiming some kind of legal ownership, over what was obviously an armed robbery.

His mafia thievery and Soviet-style brutality have no place among the civilized people of the world. He must be controlled like a rabid dog, that is and always will be a danger to all around him.

WWI led to the Russian Revolution which wiped out the intellectual elite in Russia.

If Tsar Nicholas didn't order his army to attack Germany in World War I, I think Russia could have modernized and they would be more like an European nation today.

Russians lie. Ukranians are Russian cousins. They lie.
Our media lies. UK media lies. There is no way to determine what the truth is in any of this.

—”Russia is pathetic”

Worse they are foolish cowards, they just launched a massive drone and missile attack on civilian targets.

Kindergartens, maternity hospitals, shopping malls, and residential buildings in cities in every area of the country.

“Russia is at war with kindergartens and maternity hospitals.”

No strategy, simply murder as many women and children as possible.
That and wasting thousands of Russians in an attempt to waste UA ammo.

COWARDS, not the unfortunate basterds in the meat wave attacks, but the leaders all COWARDS.

And the surviving disabled grunts?
Solzhenitsyn wrote about them being sent to the Gulag.

Liberating Donetsk and Lugansk and building a land bridge from Crimea to mainland Russia were THE territorial objectives going into the war.

Those are the "main objectives" now, since they completely failed at taking Kiev and forcing a full surrender the first week or two of the "special military operation".

The goal was NEVER to take Kiev. No army is going to take a city of nearly three million with 40,000 troops.

You're are completely ignorant about war strategy.

Putin Thought He Could Take Kiev in 2 Days

That's true.

I'm glad you agree Putin is completely ignorant about war strategy. Although in all fairness to Putin, he did call the invasion of Ukraine a "special military operation" rather than a "war", which is why he deployed relatively few Russian troops at the outset. He received bad intelligence and thought the Ukrainian people would welcome him, not too different than W's people feeding him bad info about Iraq. Whether his intelligence agencies fed him misinformation because they want him out or just because they're too afraid to tell him anything he doesn't want to hear is anyone's guess.

Huh? One of the big prongs in their initial invasion was straight toward Kiev. Here, I even found you a leftist article that talks all about it: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/dec/28/the-battle-for-kyiv-revisited-the-litany-of-mistakes-that-cost-russia-a-quick-win.

Again, only someone severely lacking in military strategy would think a military could take a city of almost three millions with an army of 40,000, which was the number sent to surround Kiev.

The purpose of Russia doing so was either to force negotiations or to keep Ukrainian troops in place while the Russians worked on liberating Donbass.

Yes, he's so ignorant that the Russian military has ground an army the size of the one we faced in Vietnam into hamburger.

Russia is going end up with everything it wanted out of this war.

A nearly undefended city, you bet they could, easily. It only took a couple thousand trucks to shut down Ottowa, and they didn't even have tanks or artillery backing them up. Considering the lack of military response Russia expected, they definitely were planning to take the city.
