Stefanik blasts New York court for allowing mail-in voting law to take effect: 'lawless'

State Republicans are expected to appeal the ruling..

Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., on Thursday blasted the Albany Supreme Court's decision to allow New York's new early voting law to take effect ahead of a special election to fill the seat of former Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y.

"The decision to dismiss our request for an injunction to halt the implementation of mass unregulated mail-in early voting is just another example of New York’s lawless and rampant corruption," Stefanik wrote in a press release. "The New York Constitution is very clear, if you would like to request an absentee ballot, there is a safe and legal process; unregulated mass mail-in ballots are illegal. Hardworking families in New York State deserve fair and legal elections."

New York Republicans requested that the state halt the new early mail-in ballot system temporarily, which was denied by Albany County Supreme Court Justice Christina Ryba.

“The Court did not consider the merits of the case and had to be forced to issue an opinion after we asked the Appellate Division to force Justice Ryba to issue an opinion,” New York Republican Chairman Ed Cox said in an interview with The New York Post.

State Republicans are expected to appeal the ruling.

Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the Early Mail Voter Act into law earlier this year. This law allows voters in New York to request a mail-in ballot up to ten days before the election. They don't have to give a reason on why they can't vote in person.

"It is shameful that we argued for a fair and legal election on October 13th only to get a ruling at 11pm on December 26th," Stefanik said. "If Democrats can't win through a legal election, they cheat and that has never been more clear than right here in New York."

The Republicans got rid of George Santos. Now the Democrats will take his seat. This is on you.

The Democrats will take 5 seats in New York in November and 3 seats in Wisconsin. That's enough to win the House.

The purpose of the secret ballot is to make it impractical for people to sell their vote.

Mail-in ballots defeat the purpose of ballot secrecy.

Mail-in ballots should only be allowed in cases where a person could not otherwise vote.

I believe ballot secrecy is required by international treaty.

“Article 25

Every citizen shall have the right and the opportunity, without any of the distinctions mentioned in article 2 and without unreasonable restrictions:

(a) To take part in the conduct of public affairs, directly or through freely chosen representatives;

(b) To vote and to be elected at genuine periodic elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret ballot, guaranteeing the free expression of the will of the electors;”

Dominion (whose scanners have multiple internet connections) already have stolen the vote of normal New Yorkers. The ability to throw the b’tards out is gone.

Time to get hard core.
Republicans control the House.
They should refuse to swear in and seat which ever democrat ‘wins’ the upcoming fraudulent election. Let that be the new standard operating procedure for dealing with election fraud.
Let democrats know that the time for cheating is over, no matter what the radical left-wing courts dictate.
Let them suck on that thought for awhile.

“The intentions were clear. Proponents like John Stuart Mill claimed the secrecy of the ballot would curb the power of intimidating landlords and the rampant vote-buying funded by the wealthy.

“Now embraced as a ‘cornerstone of modern democracy,’ the secret ballot brought an immediate reduction to election violence, intimidation and bribery.”

“Pontefract was centre stage in August 1872 when the first secret ballot in Britain was used to elect a Member of Parliament, allowing people to vote in secret by placing an ‘X’ on a ballot paper next to the name of their choice.

“It represented a huge change in the way elections were arranged. Before the Ballot Act of 1872, those who were eligible to vote had to declare their choice in public, a system that was open to bribery and intimidation.

“The box is still marked with the seals used to ensure the votes were not tampered with. The seal was made with a liquorice stamp, used to make Pontefract cakes from a local liquorice factory.”

Moderate leftists predict R’s win the Senate and lose the House.

With mail-in ballots, it will be a relief if we win anything at the national level. And Biden needs his war for another pricey distraction. The bizarre is poised to frame 2024.

In even worse. In 2021 the votes in NY were given a proposition to vote for. It read:
___________________________________________

“Ballot Proposal 4:
FORM OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL NUMBER FOUR, AN AMENDMENT
Authorizing No-Excuse Absentee Ballot Voting

The proposed amendment would delete from the current provision on absentee ballots the requirement that an absentee voter must be unable to appear at the polls by reason of absence from the county or illness or physical disability. Shall the proposed amendment be approved?

_______________________________________________________

NY voters said no to the prostitution. They did not want unlimited mail in ballots.

The governor and then the legislature gave the middle finger to the voters and forced it on them anyways.

Turns out that the original law is in the NY state constitution and the legislature is lawlessly amending it. And a High judge ignored the offense which also makes them lawless. Only if the proposition had been approved by the voters would a change to the constitution be legal.

“A simple majority vote is required during two successive legislative sessions for the New York State Legislature to place a constitutional amendment on the ballot.”

Thank you for posting MinorityRepublican.

The Democrats will take 5 seats in New York in November and 3 seats in Wisconsin. That's enough to win the House [emphasis added]. "

NY court is actually arguably setting NY up to lose seats in the House under constitutional penalty as per the explanation further down.

First, the bottom line...

Consider that corrupt political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because the electoral college is the only thing stopping the political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.

Getting back to alleged NY vote-rigging, the congressional record shows that post-Civil War federal lawmakers had expressed their concern that states that allow aliens to vote effectively wrongly nullify the Constitution's "Uniform Rule of Naturalization Clause," Artice I, Section 8, Clause 4.

Note that the Uniform Rule of Naturalization Clause was made because the drafters of the Constitution were concerned that some states had lower requirements for granting US citizenship, NY courts now arguably making it easier for aliens to get away with exercise voting power reserved uniquely to citizens.

But more importantly concerning NY making it possible for non-citizens to vote, note that post-Civil War concern for election integrity led lawmakers to draft Section 2 of the 14th Amendment, that section a penalty for states where vote-counting fraud has occurred, a loss of House seats.

As you give Section 2 a look, note the zero tolerance "hair triggers" for enforcing that section. That section would probably have worked in favor of Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters in 2020 and 2022 elections if it weren't for the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments imo.

Again, as indicated in the congressional record, states that allow illegal aliens to vote wrongly weaken the constitutionally enumerated voting power of ordinary qualified citizens imo.

What is really disturbing about the apportionment aspect of Section 2 is the following imo.

Consider that the post-Civil War congressional Republicans who drafted that section made it to discourage Southern Democrats (my words) from rigging the ballot boxes that Democrats are now alleged to have done for 2020, 2022 and possibly earlier elections!

"Because slavery (except as punishment for crime) had been abolished by the Thirteenth Amendment, the freed slaves would henceforth be given full weight for purposes of apportionment. This situation was a concern to the Republican leadership of Congress, who worried that it would increase the political power of the former slave states, even as such states continued to deny freed slaves the right to vote." —Apportionment of Representatives

In fact, if this were a better world, then the feds and media would be publicly reminding the states for every election to be careful not to do anything that would justify the feds darkening their doorway to audit an election to determine if Section 2 has been compromised imo.

The problem is that political party elites are obstructing (imo) the due process of Section 2 concerning allegations of vote-counting fraud in the 2020 and 2022 elections in several states imo. This is evidenced by the lawmakers who voted to accept Biden's electoral votes on J6 despite allegations of ballot box fraud imo.

The next action that Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots need to take to stop the political parties from destroying the constitutional republic is to be ready ASAP to effectively "impeach and remove" Constitution-ignoring Congress by primarying ALL incumbents up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?).

The crook career lawmakers that misguided voters keep reelecting for unknown reasons need to be replaced with patriots who will not only support hopeful Trump 47 to finish draining the swamp, but will also do the following.

New lawmakers need to support Trump in leading the states to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes and unconstitutional interference in the affairs of the sovereign states by effectively "seceding" ALL the states from the unconstitutional big federal government by repealing the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A).

Consider the repealing of 16&17A as part of reparations for victim taxpayers of the unconstitutionally big federal government for having to pay a lifetime of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and a few other constitutionally enumerated expenses.

In fact, consider that since one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the big, bad federal government to dictate peacetime domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers imo), the worst problem that the country would otherwise be looking at with a new Congress of Trump-supporting freshman lawmakers is arguably the following. Citizens would probably get into the habit of lightheartedly questioning if the federal government has shutdown if they receive their mail a few days late.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.

Patriots, let's not allow ourselves to be fooled for third time in 2024 by the self-serving political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments.

Again, consider that political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because the electoral college is the only thing stopping the criminal-minded political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
