Well, I guess it technically it was the Soviet Union, not Russia, that fought a couple wars with Finland and seized a substantial portion of it.

Distinction without a difference. Whether the titleof the dictator was/is Tsar or Party Chairman or now "President", it's the same paranoid Muscovy, congenitally unable to get along with others on the playground.

If ever there was a country with full-on Stockholm syndrome regarding the Soviets, it was 1950’s/60’s Finland.
