That’s a lot of layoffs, especially when Google has ~190,000 employees.

I saw elsewhere (another thread, I think) that the number is 30,000. Incompetent author or editor (or both).
Yeah that blew my mind! And here I thought they had a “google” (1x10^100) of employees. I thought that was why they are called “google”. Oh maybe it’s because they have a google bucks, that mist be what it is.
