Biden ends the year with the worst approval of ANY modern-day president: He enters the election year with lower popularity than Jimmy Carter and faces an enormous mountain to climb

resident Joe Biden ends 2023 with his polling numbers still in the doldrums - worse than any other president at the same stage of their first term - as he prepares for an election next year with voters still worrying about the state of the economy.

And that is despite his overall approval rating ticking up slightly.

The latest tracking number from Gallup, published Friday, puts Biden's job approval rating at 39 percent, up two points from lows in October and November.

That is worse than the last seven presidents in history as they came to the end of their third year in power.

Barack Obama was at 43 percent and Donald Trump was at 45 percent as they headed into election year.

Everyone else, including Jimmy Carter, who is often held up as the benchmark for a failing presidency, had a favorable job rating from more than 50 percent of respondents.

Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush polled at 51 percent, and Ronald Reagan and Carter stood at 54 percent.

George W. Bush had the best numbers. His 58 percent standing was inflated by the recent capture of Saddam Hussein in 2003.

It all shows how much work 81-year-old Biden has to do as he seeks re-election.

'While the economy has shown signs of improvement and Americans are a bit more optimistic about it, it remains a pressing concern,' said Gallup in its analysis of the numbers.

'In addition to dealing with the national economy and overseeing the United States’ role in wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, Biden continues to face a crisis at the southern U.S. border.

'Given Republicans' concern about the issue, Biden can expect immigration to be a central theme in the Republican presidential nominee's campaign in 2024.'

The MSM was very much leftist back in Carter’s time, but they didn’t let him off the hook for his mistakes.

Biden ends the year with the worst approval of ANY modern-day president: He enters the election year with lower popularity than Jimmy Carter and faces an enormous mountain to climb.

And yet, being the hale and hearty fighter, the solemn and serious warrior, the brilliant and insightful thinker, the decent and honest man, that he is, Creepy Joe will go on to win the 2024 election with no less than 90 million “votes”.

Biden can’t even climb up a flight of stairs, let alone a mountain.

They don’t have to like Joe. They just have to hate Trump more.

“”faces an enormous mountain to climb “”????

C’mon, Man!

During the run up to the first stolen election, SloJo spent most of the time in the basement. For the 2024 election, he will probably be in the Chinese Embassy basement.

Bad to mention Reagan in an article about Biden BUT

When Reagan was facing tough numbers in January 1983, Reagan turned to his aide and said, “I know just what I can do about it,..I’ll go out and get shot again.”

Not a fair comparison!

Carter didn’t have George Soros and 60 million MIVs...

The 2024 swindle doesn’t have a Ronald Reagan, a solid nation of America-loving patriots, or a nation that respects, and is willing to fight & die for, the Constitution & flag...

Two things.

I remember when everyone said there’s gonna be a red wave.

There wasn’t.

I read a leftist saying no matter what, and he thought Biden was doing a lousy job, he was voting for Biden. He also said he hoped a lot of other Dems were keeping their mouths shut and would vote for Biden.

I don’t trust the polls.

15,000,000 Rat voter crossed the border in the last 3 years.

And if anyone takes exception to Jiao Bi Dung's 100,000,000 votes, then yer' a MAGA racist and a threat to democracy.

The reason the MSM was happy attacking Carter was because they assumed Teddy K would take his place and be a REAL leftist.

Sadly, I agree with you. There are too many people that would vote for a “D” as long as they have a D by their name. That, and the steal. I think the Dims have mastered the steal, and I’ll be shocked if we get anything other than a D again while the USA is still intact.

Trump hate substantively spurring vote totals is a falsehood generally put forth by folks explaining Biden’s 81 million votes w/o using the word fraud.

We know this as we watched hate Obama lose 1050 net Dem elections in six years. He did not campaign in 2010 mid terms, barely did in 2014 and his endorsement record is cancerous.

MAGA took the House. 2020-GOP 28-0 in House toss ups. Trump’s endorsement record is GOAT.
Despite 90% of industry/institutions/billionaires colluding/ conspiring against Trump-he is more popular than ever.

It’s a myth put forth by folks generally trying to reconcile a corrupt election.

Two things.

The Democrats are barely clinging to power, red wave or not 2022.

Trump is 6/5, Biden is 5/2 in the poll backed by money-at no time has been Trump been a lower price except election night 2016 and 2020 after results were coming in.

I read a guy saying Trump will never be the 2016 nominee, same guy said Hillary is 93% to win, I’m certain he’s votingfor Biden-that and $5 will get me a whopper at Burger King.

They don’t have to like Joe.
They just have to hate Trump more.

Good point about why we can't get complacent. Much of that disapproval rating is from various leftist factions being angry that he isn't doing ENOUGH to establish a socialist dictatorship here. They will still vote for him.

"Mountain to climb"?

Setup for when Biden makes a "miraculous" comeback to win in 2024 (by massive vote fraud).

The 2024 swindle doesn’t have a Ronald Reagan...

The WWII veterans who elected Reagan are long gone.
