If they had done their job in 2020 re the case from TX, that other states joined, we probably would be in much better shape than we are.

Special Counsel Jack Smith had asked the nation’s highest court to take up the immunity case on an expedited basis, bypassing the federal court of appeals.
The Supreme Court, which has a 6-3 conservative majority, including three justices nominated by Trump, denied the request in a one-line order that did not provide any reason for the decision.
My understanding is that now the court of appeals is going to try to rush a conviction. They want briefs summitted in January so the can begin oral arguments. But I read somewhere that there 8 million pages of documents to be reviewed. How can the court rush this that quickly without giving Trump time to review the evidence?

Indirectly and strongly. Although the GA case is a state case, Trump’s also made the same partial immunity claim in it and, if my 81 year old memory is correct, the GA state judge hearing that case has stayed it pending determination of the partial immunity issue.
