If you have not seen the surveillance, you have no idea. They literally have recreated the East German Stasi, no exaggeration, in America. I have it surrounding me for my website. I spent the first five years thinking it must be some kind of temporary trick by a small group of PIs, trying to make me think it was that big. But it is not. It is Stasi-sized, complete with the civilian informant network, which they use to harass people for them.

I have zero doubt there is a local Stasi agent in your neighborhood who knows you by sight, has had you followed for a couple of days at least every year or so, and who has saved transcripts from inside your house in your local file, which he is responsible for.
Most people never see it, and are raised to think it impossible. But once they go overt, it is rough.
