I just don’t think we last much longer as a union of 50 states. I can’t say what will effect the change, but the First Republic of the United States will end and be replaced (I hope) by the Second Republic of the United States. The first Republic ended in 1861. What we had next was a central government far more powerful and intrusive than the founders ever intended.

Reall? It was the South that vote overwelmingly for the fascist Wilson and Fdr. It is now a heartland of Conservatism, but back then, it voted for leftists who hated the Conservative American Founding.
