South Bend SWAT Destruction [wrong house]

Amy Hadley watched in horror as her home was raided by police and destroyed in South Bend, Indiana, in June 2022. Over a year later, her family is still traumatized and their home still bears the scars of the raid. And all of this happened because police were searching for a man who was never in their home and who had no connection to Amy’s family.

The police errored hugely by raiding the wrong house. But evidently it’s City of South Bend and St. Joseph County who are refusing to compensate the innocent home owner. And the damage was significant. From the article:

“When the dust settled, the house was uninhabitable for days. Tear gas saturated everything, glass filled the beds, windows and walls were shattered and mangled. Amy and her family slept in her car. Amy tried to get answers and compensation from the government agencies. But they denied her requests.”

Evidently officers from both the City of South Bend and St. Joseph County were involved in the botched raid. The article said that each agency thinks the other one should pay all the costs.

That’s dishonorable thinking, to say the least. I suppose this case will slowly wind its way through the courts. It will probably be years before that homeowner sees any compensation.

I’ve watched 100 episodes of the S.W.A.T. television show, and not once did they raid the wrong house.

They need to compensate the 15 year old kid also, arrested, cuffed and hauled off.

At least no one died. I have seen many similar cases whre they gunned down the innocent homeowners.

We used to have these people called US Attorneys that would from time to time ARREST AND PROSECUTE Corrupt Cops and Politicians.

Every person involved in this belongs in PRISON FOR LIFE, Including the crackhead Judge that signed the Warrant, They should have been Stripped of All Assets and Locked up that very day.

Something similar happened over here in Killeen a few years back. The SWAT team went into Normandy invasion mode and wrecked the whole front of the house - garage door, front door, bay windows, looking for some kid who wasn't even there. And it was a black family. The dad went on camera with local TV stations to say that he and his family support the police, know that they have an important job to do, but did they have to go and do all that idiotic wrecking just looking for one punk kid. All he wanted was for the city to have it fixed back up, that was it. And they DID. Luckily there were no sort of gas or smoke grenades involved, so it was just straight up contractor work to get it back to where it was, meanwhile the family had to go in out through the back patio doors. At least they could still stay there.

She has a claim under Eminent Domain. What happened was a taking and she is due just compensation.

Amy Hadley is White. Therefore, she should have been killed. Because Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity. In any case, as an untermensch, she has no rights.

Because they do not LISTEN TO THEIR VICTIMS. Their victims are always wrong, always guilty, and to be completely ignored as subhuman. There wasn’t even one smart one on the scene who might have said “Maybe we better recheck the address, we might be wrong here” based on what their victims were obviously telling them.

Nope, they are never wrong even if they are indeed wrong.

YEP, in the new Amerika. A detail left out about the incident in Killeen was even with the black card in play, the city didn't give in right away, tried to dodge responsibility, dragged their feet about it. Finally gave in after catching a lot of grief from the public.
