Yeah, didn’t nancy beef up and extend the powers of the capitol police after Jan.6? Seems like they ought to have more teeth now. Unintended consequences for someone who didn’t lift a finger to protect the capitol before Jan.6, (but we all know why) is that the current speaker should have them.
