He [Romney] thinks putting his name behind any candidate will be a ‘kiss of death’
Two of my biggest regrets were contributing to the Romney and McCain campaigns. Neither was running to actually win. And, if they somehow won, would have been like a 3rd term of GWB. Still better than Obama, I guess.
I would not take ANY ENDORSEMENT by MITTENS-—even for trash removal.

I gave neither of their campaigns money; but I did vote for both (2008 and 2012): The lesser of two evils. If I had it to do over again, I’d have voted for my dog, in both cases (I’ve done that with local and House and Senate races).
Romney is a flaming A-hole.
I think grass roots Republican voters have a lot more common sense than the elite uniparty leadership gives them credit for.
And that common sense is telling them two things:
1) The entire political establishment is corrupt to its very core - rigging elections, weaponizing government against the people - lying about everything via a fake news media they totally control.
2) That same entire political establishment is trying to stop Trump from getting back in the White House. Almost everyone in power is against him.
Those two facts can only mean one thing: Trump really does intend to take the power away from these tyrants and return it to we the people.
Grass roots Democrats are hopelessly brainwashed - but grass roots Republicans see exactly what’s going on here - and that is the only explanation for why Trump’s popularity increases the more his enemies malign and attack him.
You can know a man’s character by who his enemies are - Trump has all the right enemies and common sense republicans and independents can see that.
They continue to malign him in every way possible and he just gets more popular.

Romney shouldn’t worry about not voting for Trump, as I don’t think Trump would vote for him.

Romney didn’t care. His job was to block a conservative from getting the Republican Nomination. Mission Accomplished!
Several decades ago Mitt Romney was greatly admired. Now, not so much. The great question is, “What caused Mitt to sell his soul to the evil empire that is the deep state/WEF/etc.?” Was it blackmail, greed, or something else? If we had any genuine investigative journalists left they would be doing some digging, but since they’re all on the same payroll as Mitt we won’t hold our breath.
Romney is a Democrat.
There has never been a weaker incumbent running in my lifetime than Biden... but the fix is in, so no one is going to run against him.
My bet is they will prop up Biden until after the convention, and then replace him.. they changed their rules in 2022, so that after their convention should their nominee withdraw for any reason, they can just name a replacement without a single vote cast.
Being a Mormon, he pretty much already sold his soul.
