‘Sad, pathetic, and a waste of everyone’s time’: White House knocks impeachment inquiry resolution
The Hill ^ | 12/07/2023 | ALEX GANGITANO

The White House on Thursday knocked the House GOP’s resolution to formalize its impeachment inquiry into President Biden, calling it a waste of time.

“This baseless stunt is not rooted in facts or reality, but in extreme House Republicans’ shameless desire to abuse their power to smear President Biden. Fox News already reported that the only reason they’re having this vote is to ‘put a GOP win on the table for the base,’ which is sad, pathetic, and a waste of everyone’s time,” Ian Sams, White House spokesman for oversight, said in a statement.

We have people on FR whose opinions of both the Trump “impeachments” and the prospective Biden impeachments mirror those of this article.

I think we should impeach biden at least 3 times in order to break President Trump’s record, or until it succeeds.

Joe Biden Spoke with Hunter’s Influence-Peddling Business
Associates Hundreds of Times While VP, Email Records Show
SLAY News ^ | December 6, 2023 - 9:02 am | Frank Bergman
FR Posted on 12/6/2023, 9:32:23 AM by Red Badger

Bombshell new records released by the House Ways & Means Committee have revealed that Joe Biden used email aliases to speak with his son’s business associates hundreds of times while in office as Obama’s vice president.

The Republican-led committee obtained metadata from IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. The metadata reveals Joe Biden used alias email accounts 327 times during a nine-year period from 2010 to 2019 to discuss shady foreign business deals.

He used the email aliases to correspond with his son, Hunter, and one of Hunter’s key business associates, Eric Schwerin, among others. The vast majority of the email communications occurred while Biden was serving as vice president.

The committee revealed that 54 of the emails were “exclusively” between Joe Biden and Schwerin. The committee describes Schwerin as “the architect of the Biden family’s shell companies.” The email aliases used were “robinware456,” “JRBware,” and “RobertLPeters.” The existence of Biden’s email aliases was revealed earlier this year by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), as Slay News reported at the time.

After Comer released those aliases, whistleblowers, who are still employed as IRS investigators, ran a search for the Biden emails. They specifically looked for the aliases in email exchanges with Hunter Biden and Eric Schwerin. That search led to the revelation of the 327 exchanges. A source reportedly told Fox News the whistleblowers could only access metadata for these exchanges.

The source said accessing the content of the emails would require a search warrant. The whistleblowers turned over the results of the search to the committee after a closed-door meeting Tuesday. The committee released the information later on Tuesday. The data shows direct emails between Schwerin and Joe Biden increased during times when the then-vice president traveled to Ukraine.

The committee said the data shows Joe Biden and Schwerin exchanged five emails in June 2014 before the vice president’s trip to Ukraine that month. After that trip and before Biden’s November 2014 trip back to Ukraine, he and Schwerin emailed 27 times. Hunter Biden joined the board of the notoriously corrupt Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings in April 2014.

Biden has acknowledged that when he was vice president he successfully pressured the Ukrainian government to fire Ukraine’s top prosecutor Viktor Shokin. At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings for corruption and fraud. During the same period, Hunter Biden held a highly lucrative role on the board, receiving tens of thousands of dollars per month in salary, despite having zero experience in the energy sector. At the time, the vice president threatened to withhold $1 billion of critical U.S. aid if Shokin was not fired.

Biden has publicly gloated about his effort to fire Shokin but claims it was because the prosecutor is corrupt. However, the U.S. State Department’s investigation at the time found no such evidence, and investigators even praised Shokin for making sufficient progress in implementing anti-corruption reforms. Nevertheless, Biden’s allies maintain the vice president pushed for Shokin’s firing due to concerns the Ukrainian prosecutor went easy on corruption and insist that his firing was the policy position of the U.S. and international community.

“Vice President Biden appears to have treated Air Force Two like a corporate jet, traveling to Ukraine and Mexico to advance Hunter Biden’s business interests,” Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) said.

I think the impeachment inquiry is not a waste of time, but lacking a GOP majority in the Senate I cannot see the effort succeeding in the final sense.

The inquiry itself is worth it for the crimes it exposes. The only thing better will be for the LameStreamMedia to report the truths the inquiry reveals. Little hope for that.

Bank flagged $5M loan from Chinese firm to influence-peddlar Hunter Biden,
Proceeds ended up in Joe Biden’s account, suggesting money laundering
justthenews ^ | 11/19/2023 | john Solomon
FR Posted on 11/29/2023, 11:00:30 PM by bitt

Some of the proceeds from 2017 Chinese loan, flagged by a bank investigator for potentially money laundering and political influence, ended up in Joe Biden’s account, congressional investigators say.

A bank investigator trained to spot money laundering raised serious concerns in 2017 about a $5 million loan that the Biden family received from the arm of a Chinese energy firm, flagging the transaction as “high risk” and possibly tied to efforts by the communist government to gain influence through Hunter Biden, according to an explosive new memo released by congressional investigators Wednesday.

The memo released by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer stated that the unnamed examiner specifically raised concerns
<><>that the loan had no paperwork,
<><>that a Biden family firm distributed large sums to a Hunter Biden law firm
<><>the recipient firm was inside the Biden family apparat
<><>and did not appear to have investments requiring a loan.

The bank examiner identifies Hunter Biden as a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), which is a widely used term in financial industry money laundering cases to classify a person who is either “entrusted with a prominent public function” or a family member of one who is, according to The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.

“We have been monitoring the subject customer due to the PEP designation and observations on the account activity as well as recent negative news Indicate this entity to be high risk,” the money laundering investigator wrote bank official as he traced the money from Northern International Capitol Holdings (HK) Limited, a firm tied to China CEFC Energy, through the Biden family’s Hudson West III firm and to Hunter Biden’s Owasco PC law firm

Are you? I just want to ensure I don’t misunderstand you.

Your stance is, you think the impeachment proceedings against Trump were fully justified, and he was guilty of impeachable offenses, and the prospective impeachment of Biden is wholly without merit?

Also-if you think it is worthless to pursue any impeachment against Biden, I understand that on it’s face from a simple estimation of success or failure, and if it is worth the effort to pursue something with little chance of success.

If that is your position, I don’t fault you for that, because many feel that way.

I was referring to the comments from the White House.

LOL...it is pretty clear that was what they (the Uniparty/Deep State) were going after with Trump...to give him that “unique” distinction in history.
