I am coming to the reluctant conclusion that demographics reign Supreme here. Numbers on each side are what they are.
Short of huge influx of fighting g soldiers from outside Ukraine to help them, plus unlimited support in money and materiel to fight with, the Ukes do not have the resources to win against a determined Russia invasion in a protracted war of attrition.
Perhaps if the Ukes were re-armed with the nukes they had before giving them up in exchange for security garuntees after the Soviet Union dissolved, they could then threaten the Russians with a mutually assured destruction scenario.
I am not joking but don’t see it happening either.
Would be cheaper to give the Ukes their nukes back to threaten Putin’s Russia with than what we are doing now.

If the Euro-peons want to fight for a Ukraine that can be economically exploited by the Europeans as opposed to being economically exploited by Russians........then let the Euro’s arm and do so.
US has MAJOR problems in SouthAm, Mexico, and the PacRim that are real threats to national security both military and economically.
The Ukes and Rusk are a diversion and Imperial profit/kickback center for the DC and Brussels SWAMP.
The Uke oligarchs are even more corrupt than the Rusk oligarchs.....and that is no mean feat.
