HOWEVER, I limit that to once every 3 weeks, at maximum. These drinks have an effect, so moderation seems… ah… whatever word implies "halfway between 'prudent' and 'necessary'".

I went into a Panera Bread a few months back and seen that crap. Pass, when you have HBP and or Afib, that kind of shit needs to be well marked or not accessible to the public.
As for Panera, it was like walking into a liberal nest. Whole atmosphere was off, gave me the willies.
I knew a couple whose son died after drinking an “energy” drink. He had no prior health problems.
It seems the first person, a young woman, had a congenital problem as well, one which caused her to be careful of caffeine. I wonder if they both had the same problem?
Anyway, that level of caffeine should definitely be very clear. I would be shaking like a leaf if I drank one if those!
We don’t go to Panera any more. Frogdad ordered a sandwich which came adorned with avocado. When he objected, telling them he was allergic to it, the kid behind the counter said, “Why’d you order it, then??” I told the kid to turn around and read the menu board behind him, it doesn’t mention avocado.
Had it not been easily visible, he may have taken a big bite. Too dangerous!
