This isn’t much of a secret. What were the Ukrainians reasonably going to do with money that we gave them for a war effort? PErhaps launder some of it, but obviously the vast majority was going to have to purchase war materials. That still does not mean it’s not unnecessary (and thus inflationary) spending that couldn’t be spent on something more productive (or simply not dumped into the economy at all).

The term is *money laundering”
This should be the case with ALL foreign aid the US government gives away.
Sure, we will give your country X millions or billions. However, you need to use that money to buy things MADE IN THE USA. Even IF you can buy them cheaper from some other place.
Meaning you should be buying our RICE, our WHEAT, our Diesel Fuel, our M16s, our Corn Syrup, etc.

After Defense, Debt Interest, Obamacare and Social Security, the taxpayer dollars are gone. The dollars laundered through Ukraine is borrowed money. We cannot borrow money to give away to assist the U.S. economy. All of it contributes toward increasing the budget deficit and the federal debt.
