Jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was hit with new charges by Russia Friday, according to reports.

Navalny, 47, is already serving more than 30 years in prison after he was found guilty of charges that he and his supporters say were politically motivated.

This time, he said in social media posts shared by his spokesperson that he has been charged under article 214 of Russia’s penal code, which covers crimes of vandalism.

Navalny, a longtime critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that the Kremlin wants to “initiate a new criminal case against me every three months.”

“I don’t even know whether to describe my latest news as sad, funny or absurd,” he said in comments posted on social media Friday via his team. “Never before has a convict in solitary confinement for more than a year had such a rich social and political life.”

Could be. This is Putin showing that he can do persecution as well as Biden.

Maybe not Joe Biden but killing off political enemies is not unheard of in the USA, JFK, RFK, MLK, Geoffrey Epstein, Vince Foster and others

WOW! That’s really bad. That sounds like something Biden’s DOJ would do to a political opponent.

JFK was POTUS, RFK was likely going to be POTUS, George Wallace was winning Democratic primaries, Vince Foster had the goods on the Clintons and you ignore the USA’s role in political assignations

Is Putin killing off his political opponents and critics, absolutely but the USA has its share of doing the same thing and some people refuse to acknowledge that

If you have to go back 60 years, that’s desperate

Let’s stick to the last 20 years

And Vince Foster wasn’t an opposition candidate ... apples & oranges
