Liberman: 'The Oslo experiment has ended'
Arutz Sheva ^ | 1/12/23

Posted on 12/01/2023 5:52:01 AM PST by Eleutheria5

Yisrael Beytenu leader MK Avigdor Liberman commented on the continued hostilities in Gaza and declared that the Oslo Accords could be considered defunct.

"The 30-year-long Oslo experiment, in which we paid a heavy price in human lives, has come to its end," he wrote.

"The recent events have proved beyond all doubt that a serial Holocaust denier, and someone who refused to denounce the October 7th massacre with even a single word, neither can nor should rule in Judea and Samaria, or the Gaza Strip."

"We must say the truth: Two states for two peoples, a Palestinian nation, and giving the Gaza Strip to Abbas, are all dangerous fantasies that have cost us too high a price."

"Anyone who wants a lasting solution and stability must understand that Judea and Samaria will only ever be stable if Jordan takes responsibility for the Palestinian territories there, and Egypt takes responsibility for the Gaza Strip," he added.

"Of course, they have displayed no desire to do so, but if we insist and be both forceful and persistent in this matter, and use all our leverage against Egypt and Jordan, including Washington - it is not impossible.

They could be administered under UN mandates the Gazans/West Bank Palestinians could vote to accept.

The British dropped the Mandate ball in 1948.

They didn’t drop it. They threw it from a height, blockading the coast against Jewish refugees from Europe, lest the Arabs get riled. They got riled anyway, partly with British encouragement.

2 state? That is not the plan. One world, under sharia, with slavery and submission for all the infidels.

Did anybody have the decency to tell Biden?

He’s not up on a lot of Mideast stuff.

Thinks Golda Meir is still running things.

The UN’s UNWRA is a chief fomenter of genocide.

Keep the UN far away.

Right, Avi, but the "Oslo Accords" were defunct before they were even signed. Islamic terrorists never stopped hating or killing. They never will. Their stated mission has always been to kill every Jew on Earth, and then all the Christians.

When someone tells you what they're going to do, BELIEVE THEM!

Perhaps. No one else is interested. And they are contiguous. I doubt either country wants war with Israel, and are much more able to confront terrorists without the worldwide outrage Israel must overcome. Remember the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas' patron, would like to rule Egypt. And King Abdullah II's grandfather, King Abdullah I, was murdered by an Arab, now we'd call him a palestinian, on the Temple Mount. Easy to see why they'd prefer not to have the job. But there is an upside, territorial gains and what will be massive foreign aid. But probably not enough. Some think Mohammad Dahlin could clean things up though he'd skim plenty of the aid. Obama will be very upset in either case.

They dropped it with the White Papers, particularly 1930 and 1939, which limited Jewish immigration. Contrary to the sole purpose of the Mandate, the creation of the Jewish state.

GB was bankrupted by WWII and the socialist society within England required more for public services than empire, that no longer existed in a profitable aftermath to support Britan’s in the manner they’d dreamed of with the end of WWII. The US took the lead of Empires over Britan and it is our failure to learn from “The Great Lawerance of Arabia) the lessons of Muslims dealing with those civilized Turkamun’s.

"Do unto others as others would do unto you"

Works both ways.

The Holy Koran commands Muslims to kill infidels.

That would be the Jews and us, until there are only Muslims left.

Muslims are indoctrinated by what is written in Arabic and in true translations of the Holy Koran.

Then this needs to be required reading in all high schools and colleges.

Every Jew and every American, well for that matter, every European needs to read a true translation of the Holy Quran or Koran.

Then they might understand why this is happening and why it will never stop happening. IMHO these are probably the most accurate translations, and they are FREE.

https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/16955

Please save copies of this in case it is removed from Gutenberg.

So far it has been there for over 30 years.

If people would only read it to understand what we are up against.

Double-edged scimitar?

Sort of.

If the "other" is intent on killing you, do unto that other as he would to you FIRST.

Very insightful of you. My translation of the Koran was published in London in 1932, for English converts. Reading it gave me a case of ED that lasted over a year!

I agree with you 100%, it must be required reading in all high schools and colleges, and furthermore, muslims, self avowed enemies, unto death, of ALL non muslims (but, Jews first, followed closely by Christians) should be barred from entering All non-muslim countries. They mean NO good.

My translation of the Koran was published in London in 1932, for English converts.

Mine was from the late 1800s.

I had forgotten a lot, so after 9-11 went to a bookstore to buy a newer translation.

I was shocked when I leafed through a few to find the new "translations" had all been changed a LOT to make Islam look like a "religion of peace".

Then I looked in Gutenberg and found the translations by three Imams side by side.

What you read there is pretty much the same as the translation from the late 1800s, probably as accurate as you can get.

“They could be administered under UN mandates the Gazans/West Bank Palestinians could vote to accept.”

The UN organization who will be charged with the mandate will be UNRWA, which is a big part of the problem.
