3. You, as a 40 year-old, routinely host 2 AM “get-togethers” with 15 and 16 year-olds.

The 40-Year-Old was the father of 9 children. The worst of the "bad actor" teens was a "boyfriend" of one of the 40-Year-old's family.

What does this have to do with illegals? Sounds like native born “yutes,” judging by the names.

All cities are now. They basically are reduced to hoping it doesn’t get worse and if it does, it stays in the poor areas and people outside those areas don’t notice. Politicians just tell people that crime isn’t bad even when it is.

Haven't been there but Tulsa has always been a hotbed of not-so-good things, I recall this from elementary schools days long ago:

1921 Tulsa Race Massacre

Lived in Tulsa in 1970-1976. Nice place and safe. EXCEPT in North Tulsa for a reason. I would rather live there than back in Little Rock Ark! 1967-1969!

Mother-in-law, who lived there from the 1940s till 1980 said Tulsa was fairly safe because of what happened in 1921 as a warning to certain people..

Never understood why Bob Wills always sing “Would you like to go to Tulsa,
Boy I sure would!
Let me off on Archer,
And I’ll walk down to Greenwood!”

You should read how the Cherokees and Creeks handled such a situation in 1842! The Cherokee Slave Rebellion.

I should add that now there is a rather dangerous place on South Peoria south of I-44. Used to be safe Brookside area, now section 8 housing.

Tulsa was a pretty nice place

There are MANY MANY MANY places which used to be pretty nice but are no longer so.

Thanks for reply.
I remember when Acapulco Mexico was a resort destination for Hollywood movie stars, many of whom kept residences there.
I never hear about Acapulco in the news anymore. Perhaps it has also become more dangerous? I.E., I don’t see it advertised as a vacation cruise destination or stopoff.

There was a story a couple or three years back that said that Acapulco had been pretty much destroyed by the drug-gang wars that occurred after the big cartels were broken up.

The big cartels made money from tourism and thus made sure that tourist areas were safe. But the new gangs that took their place were younger and were just focused on making money and eliminating any competition. Taxi-drivers, waiters, hotel staff all were subject to gang rules/violence.

I have no idea how things are now.

An old girlfriend and I went there in 2008 and stayed at the same hotel where JFK supposedly stayed during his honeymoon? It was a fun trip but I had a strange vibe from the locals with my blond haired girl at the market. It was not a welcoming vibe.

Looks more like a dope deal that went bad, and the “we just invited them over for dinner” is the cover story.

Idle speculation on my part, granted.
