Just as we experience weather lag, where the warmest part and coldest part are not the middle of the day or night, there will be a lag in any larger trends too.

Man is responsible for 3.4% of that 0.04%
The total amount of anthropogenic carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is therefore 0.0014%.
Completely eliminate man’s contribution and the Earth’s atmosphere still contains 0.04% CO2.
