The Biden administration on Monday said it is offering another round of free at-home Covid tests to U.S. households ahead of the holiday season, when more people gather indoors and the virus typically spreads at higher levels.
Starting Monday, Americans can use COVIDtests.gov to request four free tests per household. Those who have not ordered any tests this fall can now place two orders for a total of eight tests, according to the website.
The administration in September allowed people to request an initial round of four free tests through the site, resuming a federal program that temporarily shut down during a political fight over Covid funding.

I should have been clearer in my post #11. The test kits I got when Covid first broke out weren’t commercial ones. They were the free ones offered by the Feds. Those kits were made in China. Said so right on the box. No thanks. Didn’t use them.
I wonder if our friends in DC will offer American-made test kits this time. Or will it just be more ChiCom crap?
I’ve never understood why there was such an obsession with tests. Tests prevent nothing nor cure anything.
Unknown for sure, however “back then” the DOD and related facilities were using the Abbott BinaxNOW test kits.

1) Spreading panic
2) Security theater
3) Making people jump through hoops.

I don’t either, but she is a kook about it. I have told her there is no proof those tests are accurate. Even my doctor said they aren’t reliable.

If you must test, blow your nose in a tissue and roll the swab around in it. DO NOT stick that thing in your nose or any other bodily crevice.
Remdesivir got them on the vent and everything else followed. ARDS, MRSA, sepsis, kidney failure, fentanyl.
Probably laced with the vax or a new deadly strain of covid. Anyone who doesn’t understand yet that their goal is to kill us is dumber than a box of rocks.
My coworker had a heart attack a few weeks ago and his doctor said whatever you do, DO NOT get a covid jab. He is fine now.

The country is going bankrupt and we have to pay for fake covid tests. And even it they did work they would be pretty much purposeless.

It may be free to the US household BUT many others
will be paying for all this gov’t spending.
I’ve used about half dozen types of these tests, and from different manufacturers. Every time they’ve come back negative. I’ve never had a positive test result. Only the one my doctor’s office used Feb of last year came back positive, but I had pneumonia too.
