Most Muslim countries only became Muslim after Muslim conquest. Another way to say it is that most Muslim countries exist on stolen lands.
Even part of Saudi Arabia was conquered by Muslims. I don’t know the history of Indonesia. All other Muslim countries were conquered, or if you prefer, stolen.
Same story every where. Wherever Islam conquered, it would impose the Jizya tax to make it impossible for people to build wealth. When they ran out of wealth, the Muslim would demand the children.
