Sorry. If you are logically challenged I can’t help you. My first comment was based on a recollection, as I said. I looked further & posted an article that confirmed that DeSantis’ action in forcing legislation eliminating the district was rash & ill considered and he was forced to reverse the legislation to avoid a billion+ tax imposition on residents of the two counties effected.
If that information is of no interest feel free to ignore it. If you are acting as thread police I clarified a statement I made since I found that developments had confirmed the inadvisability and damaging nature of DeSantis’ forced legislation & that the legislation had been reversed.
If you want to pretend that this means DeSantis’ actions have not increased taxes you are ignoring the millions spent on defense of his Disney vendetta and the money used on his various promotional trips etc.
That is fine; you are not the first person to make an attack on someone you don't like and then have to walk it back for a lack of facts.
Your claim: “The people in the district affective now have much higher taxes” is not supported by the article. And you have not provided data supporting your claim.
You would have been on firmer ground if you had just said “liberals claim taxes will kill the middle class in Florida if DeSantis does not stop opposing Disney's grooming efforts.” You could probably cite many left wing publications making that case.
To be clear: are you claiming property taxes have gone up because of rate increases or because of higher property valuations?
