This is one of those jobs where when the repair contract comes out for bids, you just say 'nah, no bid that one'.
Been watching this for the last week or so. Just keeps getting worse for Grindavik which originally was not in the high danger zone. The magma has moved eastward underground and now is situated directly under the town and to the northeast. Subsidence in the town itself is a really bad sign.
The amount of magma rising now could result in an eruption far larger than the ones a few miles east in the last three years. The situation just keeps getting worse.
