Catastrophe is imminent for civilians trapped in Gaza. States cannot provide the medical care needed without significant risk. The UN must step up and coordinate efforts, regardless of public rows with Israel.
Wouldn’t this create more opportunity for Hamas to kidnap/rape/murder UN people?

depending on the UN is a fruitless exercise. it will undermine Israel in every instance. the US can send hospital ships if necessary.
Resettle them to a country that’s a known supporter of Hamas: Qatar, Iran, Yemen or Turkey. This is the ONLY aid that should be given to Gaza.

I believe the un should let hamas kill un people. The un will never have credibility but if one set of eyes is opened at the un, it would be a start.

Hospital ships to help the wounded. That would be Hamas of course. And UN personnel to help the children. (The usual gang of pedophiles.) And think of the tons of medical supplies that could be delivered ashore! (Guns and ammunition.) And hospital tents. Glory be! Hospital tents! (Great cover for Hamas operations.)
UN coordinating filed hospitals and hospital ships. What could go wrong?
This is an immediate catastrophe. First the UN needs three weeks for the environmental impact statement. Then they’ll schedule an international confab to discuss the results and craft a mission statement.
After that, two weeks to determine the needs. After that, they’ll design the hospital ship and lay the keel. It will be complete with delays and cost overruns in 2029 and ready to sail to offer immediate aid.

The UN couldn’t properly coordinate a picnic.
The UN workers already in Gaza celebrated Hamas beheading babies and burning babies alive. The UN is not a solution to anything.
They wouldn’t harm or kill their own comrades.
The UN has already caused enough problems.
