The transgender movement is pressing its agenda everywhere. Most publicly, activist teachers are using classrooms to propagandize on its behalf and activist health professionals are promoting the mutilation of children under the euphemistic banner of "gender-affirmative care." The sudden and pervasive rise of this movement provokes two questions: where did it come from, and how has it proved so successful? The story goes deeper than most Americans know.

I’m a subscriber to Imprimus, and found this article very informative.
Knowing the history of this (bowel) movement is excellent when confronted with people thinking it’s “kind and compassionate” to allow children to “explore” transgenderism.
There was a religious movement in the nineteenth century where the members decided not to procreate. It died out. I’d say that this will die out, except it recruits damaged people at a prodigious rate. There is an infinite supply of damaged people as most of us go through a period of crazy in our youth before we stabilize and grow into adults. They are catching people during their development and forcing them to stay crazy forever.
This should be illegal and people doing it should be imprisoned to keep vulnerable people from being exposed to this kind of life-altering insanity.
Libertarianism is the root of the problem.
That doesn’t surprise me one bit. Of course it makes sense that made up science like “transgenderism” comes from leftist make believe. There is no such thing as a transgender person, there are only men and women who are mentally challenged and are pretending to be the opposite sex.
I googled every single one of the names in the article...those promoting this sickness. Not surprised to see what they looked like and their chosen careers. Scary to think they pursue and teach what they think the whole world needs to know. Why is it those with the wildest ideas get the largest platforms to spread their venom?

Listen, Americans never believed for a minute Big Tobacco could be toppled in the US, along with the jobs and the nearly-perfect way tobacco dovetailed with Jefferson's agrarianism vision. And it took one lawsuit to bring it down.
