I figured the mayor had to be a Democrat. But no, he’s actually a Republican. I wonder why he’s hurting his party and his city like this?

But kudos on the name George Theron Bynum IV. That’s the kind of name I’d expect some jerkwater politician to have. 4 mayors of Tulsa in his family tree.

Just because he ran on Republican ticket doesn’t mean he is a Republican. Time was you had to run as a Democrat to even be considered for office. Tulsa has been leaning leftest for 40 years, I guess the are now getting there as all large cities seem to do.
