House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) subpoenaed four Biden family associates on Wednesday and also requested a transcribed interview with an Americore Holdings, LLC trustee regarding “loans” the Bidens received.
The subpoenas are the second batch issued in two days, signaling Comer’s initiative to cast a wide net around the Biden family business.
The subpoenas and transcribed interview requests include:
“Moneyman” Eric Schwerin (Subpoena) Former top CEFC China Energy Co. official Mervyn Yan (Subpoena) Art dealer Georges Bergès (Subpoena) Art buyer Elizabeth Naftali (Subpoena) Trustee, Americore Health, LLC, Carol Fox Associate Joey Langston Ukrainian-American businessman and longtime donor to Joe Biden, John Hynansky Associate Jason Galanis

Bring it out in the open then say... We did not find any criminal actions.
It’s the way they do things if they can’t cover it up any longer.
Now I want to see the bank deposits of the original loan amounts.
I don't need to see formal papers defining the loan, I only need to see the deposit transactions from Joe Biden's account into someone else's bank account for the amount that was loaned.
I want proof that there was an antecedent loan distribution of funds that is actually being paid back.

That’s Hunter’s art dealer.
Emails from Hunter’s hard drive show “Moneyman” Eric Schwerin moving money on behalf of Joe and Hunter Biden while helping Hunter handle family expenses. Schwerin received Joe Biden’s “Delaware tax refund check” while he was vice president and he and Hunter talked by phone about Joe Biden’s mortgage.
Schwerin emailed Hunter saying he would put monies from Joe Biden’s income tax refund into Hunter’s account because “he owes it to you.” Democrats recently acknowledged Schwerin handled Joe Biden’s finances up until til the end of his VP tenure.
In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad. The NY Post reported that Eric Schwerin was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents.
By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.
HUNTER UNLEASHED “I terminated you as an at will employee for gross negligence. Also if you continue to sit with friends of mine and relationships that are mine and defame me I will sue you for defamation of character and embezzlement and for the debt with you still have not contributed your supposed 25% share of,” Hunter wrote on Dec. 12, 2017. “ … We are no longer just done as business partners you should consider moving to somewhere in Florida I’ll never go. Naples is perfect you can live in perpetual time share with your parents and talk about what a horrible person I am.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

James Biden Settles Loan Lawsuit Tied to Americore——Rural Hospitals’ Bankruptcy
Brother of President Biden was sued earlier this year by Carol Fox, a chapter 11 trustee for Americore Health, WRT over $600,000 in payments Biden supposedly received as loans.
Biden said he provided financial and consulting services that are of roughly equal value to the payments received.

Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali, a Los Angeles-based real estate investor, and philanthropist, was named as one of the buyers by Business Insider earlier this week.
<><>Naftali raised further eyebrows after she visited the White House at least a dozen times.
<><>Biden additionally appointed Naftali to his Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad in July 2022 — roughly eight months after Hunter’s first art show in Hollywood.
“These facts raise the Committee’s concerns, and the Committee seeks documents and information regarding your purchase of Hunter Biden art,” the committee wrote to Naftali in a letter Saturday. “Your position on the Commission is particularly suspicious because of Hunter Biden’s previous actions to elevate his business partner — Eric Schwerin — to the same post while his father was Vice President.”
The GOP-led committee has been probing the Biden family’s business activities and specifically, whether President Biden has benefited from his son’s overseas wheeling and dealing.
Hunter Biden has partnered with New York City art dealer Georges Bergés to sell his paintings.
In their letter to Naftali, the committee demanded:
