Under The Geneva Conventions rules, if a church, mosque, school, civilian area, etc. is being used for military purposes it no longer has an exception from attacks.
Back-blast inside that bunker would be horrendous.
It should be noted that Hamas says Israel has killed 10,000 mostly civilians. I doubt that number as they lie. Hamas says they are targeting civilians, and that is a lie. If Israel decided to target civilians the death toll would be in the hundreds of thousands.
Israel has been losing the propaganda war especially on social platforms. They need videos and images like this to show what they are up against and who Hamas really is - which most informed adults already knew but the younger set doesn’t seem to understand. Hamas recklessly and purposefully hides their weapons and firing locations inside civilian populations. They use their own people as fodder for war and for propaganda.
I’m sure they were only going to use them as fireworks for their Eid al-Fitr celebration.

As you know Hamas is not a Geneva Convention signatory. They seldom wear uniforms as is required, except when they parade around intimidating their own people. In war they dress as civilians and hide amongst them and use civilians not just as “human shields” but as propaganda - you couldn’t tell by what they are wearing if they are combatants are not, but to the extent civilians are being killed its because Hamas is forcing them to become “martyrs” for the propaganda war both inside and outside their territory.
All Hamas has (or had) to do was not make war. Gaza has not been occupied for about 18 years. Israel provides water, electricity, gas, jobs, currency, tax collection and disbursement services and more to the people of Gaza. Hamas has never been interested in providing these services to their own people. They have a massive natural gas reserve off the coast of Gaza (which Israel found, but ceded to the Palestinian Authority) but AFAIK they never tried to negotiate with any 3rd party to use it to generate export sales, local electrical power, or desalination.

Yep. The sole purpose of their existence is to kill Jews and eradicate Israel.
