Cardinals are beautiful red birds. Cardinals are also mostly old white men in the Catholic hierarchy. So I guess we’ve got to rename cardinals.
Either the bird or the Catholic officials. I don’t think it matters which one.
My suggestion:
If the bird, call them blood birds.
If the Catholic officials, call them super-bishops.
Pretty simple, actually.

Is that what they are doing? First of all...leave the birds alone! These birdbrains need to leave the bird names alone and either get a job or go sit in a corner somewhere and ponder their navel lint and genitals.
I doubt they’ll say they are changing the name of the cardinals because cardinals are old white Catholics. They’ll probably blame it on the Cardinals being a lousy football team.
