On Thursday, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) spoke on the House Floor in opposition to the proposed GOP funding to Israel.
Israel has received over $30 billion, for free, since the dust up in 2014.
What, specifically, does Israel need cash for?
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! You can’t question our Greatest Ally Evah!
What, do you want them to die all over again?
< /S >
The only military engagement ever with the US and Israel involved the USS Liberty.
France, England and others have been better allies. Someone just made that BS up, and if you question it….you’re anti Semitic.
It’s all so tiresome.
Do these politicians every worry about America and the ongoing invasion?
The house is doing net zero spending, taking this cash from the IRS to send it to Israel. Imagine the good we could do if they closed a number of alphabet agencies and had that as walking around money.

That was a big mistake and a black mark on Israe. It WAS during the Six Day War, no excuse, but unfortantly, those things can happen.
Yep
They were flying the colors and the hull was marked.
Either way, France and England have been better allies.
Early on, England not so much…
I’m fine with selling Israel military equipment.
I just don’t support any free money, or us getting in another war.
Our Neocons are certainly looking for it.
30 billion free to Israel since 2014?
no strings attached?
wow... crazy money
time for a protest, right?
They buy stuff from defense contractors who use the money for campaign contributions and lobbyists’ fees.
Disagree on Israel. Thier will be no war unless Iran starts it.
Bidet failed Israel when he sent THEIR weapons to Ukraine.
I’m sure strings are somehow attached.
I’d prefer no strings, and the money used to secure our country.
Israel has walls, where are ours?
I know people here don’t like her, but Ann Coulter was right that immigration/border security is the number one issue.
We are becoming North Brazil.
Honest question, do we possess the moral high ground anymore?
We have two carrier groups, Patriots, and THAAD missiles in the region now.
That certainly is not for Hamas.
When one finds themself agreeing with ayatollah, hamas ,hezbollah Iranian parliament, Putin ,Assad, Xi the avg muslim and others.
one is wrong. No other facts are necessary.
Nothing can be done until the traitor is out.
Maybe to buy replacements for all of the Iron Dome missiles they used up. They are out of them. Most of those missiles are made in the United States.
Lots of other ammunition is likely to be on their shopping lists. While I am not in the market for 155mm artillery shells, I notice that supplies of stuff for rifles and pistols is starting to tighten up already as makers divert production to military contracts.
What is the price of a D9 bulldozer? Is there a discount if they buy a whole lot more of them?
10,000 attack and surveillance drones anybody? They seem to be expended like bullets in an active war zone.
I can think of a long shopping list of rather ordinary supplies that would run up quite a tab, and that does not even include "10 percent for the big guy".
Whatever the final aid amount may be, the Israelis will spend most of it in the United States. Our congressman will insist on it, especially when it is spent in their districts. And surely the Israelis will return every unspent dollar....
What? You don't believe it?
We have been involved in other engagements including the Yom Kippur War, when US military planes carried supplies to Israel. And as for the USS Liberty, that was a mistake. Had the ship not been in a war zone, it would not have been attacked.
France, England and others have been better allies.
France? The cheese-eating surrender monkeys who refused to allow our warplanes to overfly their territory when we bombed Libya in retaliation for a terrorist attack in 1986?
